Through the light, darkness preveals
Lurking in the crevises of my life.
Hungry and carnivorous it watches my every move
Hoping to get in its dreadful bite.
Light covers me trying to protect
But darkness knows that i always come back.
So while it lies in wait for my return,
Light follws my steps around every turn.
Someday light knows I'll be gone for good
And so light does what it can for now
Dark smiles its cruel, knowing smile
As my life turns for its claws once more.
